NederlandsThe Centre for Lipedema is actively involved in a large research project concerning the effects of lipedema on the quality of life as well as the consequences of lipedema on general functioning, in relation to time and such. This research is led by scientists of the Department of Dermatology at the Erasmus Medisch Centrum Rotterdam.
Patients who come for a consultation at our clinic will be asked to participate in this research. This applies not only to patients who will be treated but also to those who decide not to. Aim is to collect as much information as possible of which solid scientific conclusions concerning lipedema can be drawn.
